Barcelona is one of those famous cities that nearly everyone has on their “must see” list. And it really is awesome. I’ve been to Barcelona a few times now and every time I go I seem to find another part of the city to explore. There is so many great things to see and do in Barcelona that planning your time can feel a little overwhelming and some of the main sights are quite far from each other. New Zealand was the fastest-growing luxury destination, according to Virtuoso sales figures 2014 was a big year for Virtuoso Luxury Traveler. After almost five years of existence, this blog relaunched with a new name, look and features. It was also a big year for topics such as luxury travel’s hottest destinations, the value of a travel advisor and quotes that remind us of the value of travel in our lives. First-Time Attendee Shares Travel Mart Experience

More than 3,700 people from 90 countries experienced the in-person benefits of being part of the Virtuoso network at a record-breaking Travel Mart August 14-19.  The event was historic in several ways: • Highest attendee total ever, breaking last year’s record of 3,368 • For the first time, the number of member advisors attending was greater than the number of supplier representatives • The introduction of an additional third track of appointments, which resulted in 265,000 four-minute networking meetings • New longer 10-minute sales meetings, which attendees arranged themselves through the debut of the Travel Mart Exchange online system.  Attendees booked 5,445 sales meetings through it.
