I don’t necessarily have the time, persistence, or appropriate supplies that most recipes I observed phone for, so I improvised, and the final results were ridiculously incredible! Here are phase-by-stage guidelines using my promo-model Mixie.
1.Collect your components:
- one Cauliflower head
- Shredded Mozzarella
- one egg
- Olive Oil
- Pizza Sauce
- Salt & Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Basil flakes
- Optional toppings
- Preheat oven to 350°
2. Turn Cauliflower into “snow”
In most recipes I located, they utilised a food processor to chop the cauliflower pieces up into snow, but then they had to wring it out with a towel or cheese cloth, which seemed complicated, so I decided to just kill two birds with one stone…and use my juicer! (Yes I live in LA) So the juicer juiced all the nasty water out and the pulp it spit out was the Cauliflower snow!
It still seemed moist so I microwaved it for 4 minutes, then employed paper towels to soak up the excess liquid.
If you don’t have a juicer, use a meals processor or blender, then microwave the snow, then place it in a clean towel or cheese cloth, and wring the liquid out. Caution: snow is Hot when it comes out of the microwave.
3. Make that Dough
After all of the liquid is out, you’ll be left with the fluffy snow! Now, add in your egg, 1 handful of Mozzarella, and your spices, and mush it all with each other with your hands. (Please wash them first) In a matter of seconds you’ll be able to form a dough ball, like this!
Then, spread butter on a piece of Parchment Paper on a “pizza stone” if you’re fancy and have a single, if not, a tin pan will work, and push the dough down and out into a circle, making sure it’s not too thin or as well thick.
four. Bake the Cauliflower Dough Initial
Bake the dough devoid of the toppings 1st. I estimated by checking every when in a while (aka my ADD sidetracked me) but after about 20 minutes it looked golden like this!
When you’re waiting for your dough to cook, observe this video I made although I was waiting for mine!
5. Include your toppings
Spread your pizza sauce, add your cheese, and any other toppings you want, then bake for a different 10 minutes or so,dependent on how crispy you like your pizza. We attempted 6 cheese mix and gorgonzola, and maple bacon, gorgonzola cheese, and arugula and it was amaazzinnggg. Each pizzas have been devoured in below five minutes…even the guys loved it!
Yummmmss!
