In a manic episode of escapism, and really do not inquire me why, I happened to grab the film “Sound of Music” off the shelf. In a recent submit, I shared not seeing “Lord of the Rings.” I will have to apologize nonetheless once more I haven’t noticed this classic in its entirety, until final evening.

What struck me wasn’t the music, or these frisky Von Trapp young children (however I should consider a web page from their useful joke guide), it was the dramatic scenery behind individuals timeless “Sound of Music” shots the mountains, abbeys, and fountains.  I identified out, the majority of individuals took location in and close to Salzburg, Austria (pictured above), a spot I require to get to, and quickly.

What videos out there have you employed as travel inspiration? A lot of destinations, like Austria, have under no circumstances truly crossed my mind as a location till I am reminded of their splendor on the significant screen. I’m sure this happens to all of us.
